These characteristics described below are virtues that contribute to work excellence that, in turn, form the good character of adolescents like you. 1\. Humility - As adolescents, you would experience challenges that need actions and solutions. As you imbibe the needed sacrifice and accept the reality that trials, difficulties, and challenges are attributes of all forms of work, then humility prospers in your being.. 2\. They avoid blaming or pointing to their co- I workers for the errors or mistakes committed by their group. 6\. Dependability - Dependable workers can be trusted to produce excellent work within the scheduled period. They inform their supervisors beforehand when they need a longer time for complicated and tedious tasks. 7\. Work as a team - Excellent workers are team players in the workplace. Positive attitude - A positive attitude among workers can be gleaned in their openness and acceptance of criticisms, suggestions, or recommendations on their work processes or products. Ways to Be Happy at Work Happy workers are generally effective in their workplaces. The workers themselves create ways to experience satisfaction in their work. Madhuleena Roy Chowdhury (2020), an Indian certified psychiatric counselor who is an experienced teacher and school counselor, cited a study that found that individuals are likely to feel happier when they have other happy people around them. In addition, she lists the following tips for finding real happiness at work: 1\. Declutter, your workplace. Simple acts of kindness, gratitude, and support to colleagues can make one feel a lot better and happier at work. 7\. Choose your responses wisely. Individuals can voluntarily choose responses that can make them happy at work. Effective communication can ease the stress that accompanies work. 8\. Value yourself. Step back and take a moment to appreciate yourself. A gentle reminder to yourself or a little throwback to your past achievements can work wonders in bringing back the happiness at the workplace. 9\. Start your day on a good note. A day that is started with a positive attitude is more likely to bring in more productivity and yield more fruits. 10\. Adjust your schedule. It is good to be always one step ahead in maintaining and following a flexible schedule. The various approaches described above are practical ways to be happy and satisfied with work. Continue promoting work excellence while young to become potential contributors to your family, your school, and the community where you belong. Grateful Workers Are Happy at Work There are adolescents who are not blessed to belong to happy families for several reasons. They desire to have a family that is united and happy as they work for their dreams and goals in life. They consider it as God\'s blessing to be in school to complete their studies. It is unfortunate for some adolescents who are unable to go to school much as they want to because it is in school where human persons are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values toward becoming better persons. There are various opportunities for adolescents to participate in activities and projects to improve the lives of unfortunate members in their respective communities. There are groups or organizations where adolescents can utilize their God-given talents to meet or alleviate the living conditions of the extremely poor members in their community. Your excellence at work assumes a spiritual significance when you relate the service that you do as a commitment to God. As adolescents, strive to use your God-given talents to strengthen your work skills to become more productive in the work that you need to do. You become partners of God\'s mission to spread His word and goodness to your family, to others, to your community, and to your nation.
