The anterior pituitary has hormone regulation and the posterior pituitary stores and releases the hormones The tumor if it were to secret calcitonin instead of parathyroid horomone the amount of calcium released into the bloodstream would decrease since calcitonin would block it. You would likely start to have a hypoficiency of calcium and could start being more at risk to things like osteoporosis. I think you would see higher amounts of andrenaline in the bloodstream leading to increased levels of fight or flight response even when not necessary, high blood pressure and an increased chance of heart attacks 7222122!241"0#02$21#14%#8"2& 4%'2'(0 01232145ÿ0738ÿ9 9 ÿ This would lead to higher levels of insulin in the body because there is not enough insulin to maintain homeostasis and decrease glucagon levels in the blood This would affect the overall effect on blood glucose the same of that then type 1 diabetes because the balance between homeostasis with the levels of glucose and insulin is still unbalanced within the body. The feedback loops would lead to high levels of TSH, because the negative feedback loop moves to decrease the stimulus or amounts of TSH but then that would lead to more amounts being produced What could happen is that is that when excess ADH more water will be absorbed into the kidneys, causing the persons bladder to fill up more and they urinate more frequently as a result. 7222122!241"0#02$21#14%#8"2& 4%82'(0
