OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR IMPROVING YOUR EXPRESSIVE SKILLS ASL Structure is Time Topic Co mment. When glossing in ASL, you use all caps. 1. In this lesson, please record a video about your favorite celebration. What do you like about it? What things do you do to celebrate? Who do you celebrate with? Are there any “traditions” with this celebration? Make sure you save your ASL video to your Google Drive. :) 2. In a recorded ASL video, please rank the top 5 celebrations from this lesson and why.. Make sure you use indexing. :) For me, my number one would have to be Thanksgiving. I love the idea of being with family, love eating, and watching the Detroit Lions football. Try and be as descriptive as possible. :) Make sure you save your ASL video to your Google Drive. :) Tip: When you are indexing, you can point to your thumb (starting point), sign your “celebration”, and then explain why you like it etc. Then, when you are done, move to the next finger and next celebration.
