## Creating and Managing User Accounts in AD (2 of 6) - Best practices for password options: - Always require a password - By default, the password you enter must meet AD's complexity requirements: - Must have at least 8 lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols - It cannot contain any three consecutive letters in the user name or display name - Require the user to change the password at next logon - Don't check Password never expires - Notice you can select Account is disabled - This might be appropriate when you are setting up an account well in advance of the account actually being used
