The Tiers model is a brand-new business model that aims to restructure and ultimately improve the consistency and quality of work of our cabin prep teams. How will the Tiers Model Change the Service Hubs? The Tiers model will add essential organizational structure and roles to our Service Hubs, better allowing them to manage the increasing volumes of NetJets. How does the Tiers Model structure work? Based on flight volumes and other factors every Service Hub is assigned a Tier level which is association the organizational structure and the amount of people needed for the Tier. We will walk through each Tier for a better understanding of this logic. What are the new roles that are being added? Site Managers, On Shift Supervisors, On Shift Stock Clerks. 128 129 130 131 Roles Expectations Site Manager o Overview: Site Managers are the highest local leadership level for the Cabin Prep and commissary teams. This includes detecting and deterring attempts of unauthorized access. The seals also allow the company to record the last person(s) to access or secure the aircraft. Aircraft are always in the custody of either the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) or the Pilots. Custody of the aircraft defaults to MCC when Pilots depart the airport at the completion of their duty assignment. The Crew resumes custody of the aircraft when they report to the airport and are assigned a specific aircraft. Aircraft seals are to be applied when the aircraft is not in the physical possession of a maintenance technician or the Pilots. NetJets employs two types of seals, Red Seals for Pilots and Blue Seals to be used by maintenance, vendors, and cleaners. 150 Verification of Security Seals Prior to entering an aircraft not in the physical control of maintenance or Pilots the following steps should be taken: Verify the integrity of security seals prior to unlocking or breaking the seal. o Verify the seal number matches the information in RAMP if available. - If there is no security seal, the seal is broken, or the security seal number does not match contact MCC Maintenance Controller at (614) 239-5500 ext. 32600 to verify that the proper chain of custody for the aircraft still exists. o If the seal numbers match, you may break the seal and access the aircraft. 151 Applying New Blue Security Seals – Cabin Prep Teams Once the Cabin Prep Team has completed their tasks, the aircraft must be locked, and a new Blue Security Seal applied. Remove one Blue Security Seal from the aircraft’s NetJets Flight Operations Special Docs/Forms binder onboard the aircraft. o Note: The seals are assigned and tracked by tail number, do not use seals from other tail numbers. o Note: If there are no Blue Security Seals in the binder or less than 10 seals remaining, issue a new set of seals to the aircraft. (See instructions next slide) Lock the aircraft door and apply the new seal to the passenger door at the 5 o’clock position and the baggage compartment door. Record the new security seal number in the RAMP app. Note: If RAMP is not available or not working, the seal number must be emailed to the [email protected], MX Site Manager and [email protected] 152 Issuing New Blue Security Seals to an Aircraft All Service Hubs maintain an inventory of new Blue Security Seals to be issued to aircraft as needed. The seals are issued by the bag of 100 seals. Follow steps below to issue new seals: Using the Cabin Prep iPhone or iPad, take a clear picture of the entire bag of seals, ensuring the seal numbers are visible. Using the formatting and information below, email this picture to [email protected] and [email protected].
