Book Report Hi, my name is Thiago and for the month of January I read the book titled "Pyramid by David Macaulay". The genre of this book is historical and is a third-person point of view. I decided to read this book because I was curious about pyramids. The main idea of this book is about pyramids, and it takes a closer look at how and why they were built, as well as the traditions of pyramid building. The workers who helped to build the pyramids used granite and limestone. They also used particular tools, such as a drill that looked like a bow. And you may ask why they built pyramids in the first place. The answer is because they\'re like a grave for the pharaohs and to show how important they were. Also, an interesting fact is that the pharaoh\'s wife had a small pyramid close to his husband. My favorite part of the book is when they explain what traditions they have in Egypt. For example, they believed if you die you would live another life but that one forever. Or when a pharaoh dies, they make them a special ceremony. So that and many more is why It makes me be interested and focused. I learned how people lived back then in Egypt and needed to do all of this hard work to build pyramids and their beliefs and gods. It made me switch my understanding of the pyramids and the Egyptians. I would recommend this book to people who want to learn how they built pyramids, want to learn something new, or people who are interested in what the Egyptians did back then as well as their traditions. I would also recommend this book to people who just want to casually read. So The Pyramid book is nice and teaches you about Egyptians and their cultures back then. So thank you for listening to my book report.
