Formed elements Formed elements the solid components, including blood cells and platelets suspended in plasma (matrix). It is heavier and more viscous than water. Blood pH: 7.35-7.45 Male blood volume: 5-6 Liters Female blood volume: 4-5 Liters Blood is approx. 8% of body weight Volume per body weight: 80-85 ml/kg Based on your body weight, estimate the volume in liters of your own blood?
