War and Peace War refers to a state of armed conflict between different countries or different groups within a country. Meanwhile, peace signifies the absence of conflict and the presence of harmonious relationships. Both concepts are the antithesis of each other, with some people remarking them in, perhaps, the most famous paradox from the ancient Roman author Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus, “Therefore, let him who desires peace prepare forward.” Impacts of War Social Impact Economic Impact Environmental Impact War leads to displacement, loss Conflicts can cause severe War contributes to of lives, and the disruption of economic downturns, destroying environmental degradation. communities.
