Logo: The symbol of your brand. A logo is a brand’s whole personality boiled down into an easy-to-recognize image. It’s often the first interaction you have with a brand Color scheme: The colors that represent your brand. Colors are another key ingredient in any brand identity it expresses key values and personality traits. Typography: The fonts that convey your brand’s message. Wherever a brand uses text, the font choice is deliberate and purposeful, reinforcing the overall brand identity. Tagline: A catchy phrase or message. Brand messaging is how you communicate your brand’s unique offer. Your logo tagline gives additional information and context. It doesn’t just tell people what you do, it tells them what to expect. Imagery: Photos or graphics associated with the brand. Imagery includes all the kinds of images you use in your branding, marketing and advertising. This isn’t your logo or the specific pieces of content you publish; it’s the choice of photos and stock images you use, the style of the graphics on your website and other brand assets and your overall brand aesthetic. 1. Establish Your Brand Personality Brand personality is the set of human traits your brand exhibits. Friendly, trustworthy, adventurous, or sophisticated. 2. Create a Brand Positioning Statement A brand positioning statement explains how your brand stands out. Includes: Target audience, what you offer, and why you're unique. 3. Choose a Business Name Your brand name should be memorable and reflect your brand’s mission. Consider future growth and avoid overly specific names if planning to expand. 4. Craft a Slogan A slogan is a short, catchy phrase that encapsulates your brand. Keep it memorable, simple, and clear. 5. Design a Logo Your logo should be simple, memorable, and represent your brand. Consider variations for different platforms (e.g., website, social media). 6. Define a Visual Language Visual language includes colors, imagery, and design styles. Consistency helps reinforce your brand identity.
