Fidgeting: to move around in a restless, absent-minded, or uneasy manner. Sleek: attractively smooth and shiny. Churn: to stir or beat; move something violently. Palpable: so intense as to be almost able to be felt physically. Distraught: agitated with doubt, mental conflict, or pain. Apprehensive: fearful; worried that something bad will happen. Defiant: deliberately and openly disobedient. Chastise: to punish or scold somebody. Petulantly: ill-tempered or sulky in a peevish manner. Humiliation: loss of dignity; the feeling or condition of being lessened in pride. Remorse: a strong feeling of guilt and regret. Nondescript: having no interesting or remarkable characteristics. Mystified: made somebody unable to understand something. Rehabilitation: to help somebody return to good health or a normal life by providing training or therapy.
