Establish command, determine fire floor or area, verify fire floor and extent of fire, control occupants, control building systems, confine & extinguish fire, address floor above. 2. What 3 building systems need to be controlled? a. Fire suppression/pump system, HVAC, and Elevators. 3. If the first in crew on the fire floor confirms a fire what does IC need to do? a. Command must immediately double the assignment to the fire floor. 4. What is the minimum number of crews that are assigned to the fire floor from the first due assignment prior to a confirmed fire? a. Minimum of 3 crews (two engines and one truck). 5.
