# Japanese Hiragana This document provides a chart of basic 46 Japanese Hiragana characters, along with their Hepburn romanization and International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) pronunciations. ## Basic 46 Characters The chart lists the 46 Hiragana characters in a grid format. Each character is paired with its Hepburn romanization and IPA pronunciation. The characters are organized in a structured table representing common groupings. ## Digraphs This section shows combinations of two Hiragana characters which frequently represent a single sound. Again, the table lists the digraph, and its pronunciation. These combinations are often used to express more complex sounds ## Diacritics The Diacritics section shows how to modify a Hiragana character using diacritic marks to change its pronunciation. Each diacritic is presented with its corresponding base Hiragana, and their specific combination's pronunciation. **Note:** The document includes visual representations of each character, as well as pronunciation guide. Unfortunately, I cannot display images or visuals in this text-based response.
