Titus 3:7: "...so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." Acts 22:16: "And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name." 1 Peter 3:21: "...and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also...It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." **Gifts received in Baptism:** 1. Holy Spirit comes in 2. Forgiveness of sins 3. "Adopted" by God/covered with Christ/new name 4. "Saves"/rescued from death 5. Eternal life/resurrection **Can you get these gifts without Baptism?** Mark 16:16: "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." **God's Normal "Front Door" to Enter the Church:** *Baptism* A person can go without baptism but it is like going through the laundry room instead of the main entrance.
