Personal Rights and their Protection * **Personal Rights** - Personal rights, which are recognized at the constitutional level, include, among other things, freedom and personal inviolability. * **Article 23 of the Civil Code and the Protection of Personal Rights** - This article states that personal rights of a person, such as health, freedom, dignity, freedom of conscience, name or pseudonym, image, correspondence secrecy, inviolability of the home, scientific, artistic, inventive, and rationalizing creations, are protected by civil law regardless of any other applicable provisions. * **Protection of Personal Rights - Remedies** - In the case of a violation of personal rights, there is a presumption of the illegality of the act, as stated in article 24 of the Civil Code. This means that the person suspected of committing the act bears the burden of proving that the act was not unlawful. The injured party can demand compensation or satisfaction.
