BACKGROUND This bulletin provides the procedure to upgrade the ECM (Engine Control Module) software of 2023-24MY SELTOS (SP2i), SONET (QY), CARENS (KY) D 1.5 VGT U2 vehicles. 1. DTC P200300: Protection improvement against excess temperature during DPF regeneration. 2. DTC P060600: Improve software logic related to ECM/PCM Processor Fault. 3. Automatic Recognition Reset (iMT to MT) under certain condition. Correction: Perform the Engine Control Module (ECM) upgrade via the KDS diagnostic device 2. CAUTIONS DURING ECU UPGRADE 1) Make sure the vehicle's battery is reasonably charged.
