Edward tried to help Mickey out by offering him some money. **Definitions** * **Despair:** Complete loss or absence of hope. * **Depressed:** Persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. **Current Story Situation** Right now in the story, Edward is talking to Linda about how much he likes her. Also, Mickey is going to leave Linda at 8 pm. Sammy is planning on shooting someone and is doing it for money. Mickey also decides to join him, though he is hesitant. Sammy ends up shooting the person, but then the police arrived. Mickey is crying, and now the police found out.
