Start with the recognition of the situation and possible issues in the project. You may ask the committee: Why do we need tourism development? And what are the available data and information that we can put to use. Recognize whether the area or project is STEP 1 : RECOGNITION under what authority. Impact Analyses on the economy, environment, social and cultural aspects, local government, business, and community among others that are affected by the development STEP 6: INITIAL POLICY AND PLAN FORMULATION The results from the analysis may prompt the committee to recommend some policy revisions or proposed policies that may answer the need of the area being developed. The proposed plans of action for development will be reviewed and STEP 7: preferred proposals may be chosen for RECOMMENDATION implementation. After this, the completed proposals will be submitted for the approval and implementation of proper authorities by the committee. Various methods of implementing the tourism development plan may be considered throughout. Some projects or programs may be implemented STEP 8: simultaneously or one after the other. A IMPLEMENTATION timeframe may also be created to see how the plan may be implemented according to their target beginning dates to their deadlines while others may consider the proponents who will implement the plan. STEP 9 : MONITORING The approved tourism development plan AND EVALUATION should be closely monitored and evaluated to identify the presence of deficiencies in the plan or difficulties in its implementation. This is necessary to know whether the development plan is working effectively according to the goals and objectives set by the committee.
