They are mainly used for forestry. Grey-brown Podzolic Soils look like brown earth soils. They are used for crop production or grassland. They have a high PH and are well drained. Gleys Form in waterlogged areas after high rainfall this is known as Gleisation. In these areas there is poor drainage. Mottling can be seen in the blue grey horizon.
