Experimental Pulmonary Edema in Rabbits PDF

Summary

This document explains the experimental study of pulmonary edema in rabbits. It includes a detailed description of the purpose and principles of the experiment, the concept of edema, the pathogenesis, four factors affecting the exchange, effective filtration pressure, exchange between intra- and extra-body fluids, and methods and procedures. The document also features questions about the mechanisms of pulmonary edema and the reasons for pink foamy fluid in the lungs and mouth.

Concept of edema Edema is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the tissue space or in one or more cavities of the body. Capillary hydrostatic pressure 2. Plasma colloid osmotic pressure 3.
