STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES SECTION: 200.00 / Rules & Regulations Guideline: 219.00 Injury Leave Effective Date: Revision Date: 1/2023 219.00 Governing Jurisdictions Injury leave benefits for DeSoto Fire Rescue employees are governed by provisions in the State Civil Service Law Section 143.073 and the City of DeSoto Personnel Policies and Procedures. The provisions set forth in section 143.073 of the State Civil Service Law supersede any conflicting portion of the City Injury Leave Policy. All portions of the City of DeSoto Injury Leave Policy not in conflict with Section 143.073 is in full effect for DeSoto Fire Rescue personnel.
