Kesari Singh Barhath Birth: 1872, Devpura Kheda, Shahpura in Bhilwara. Initially, Worked with Mewar Government. Exiled form Mewar by P.A. William Curzon-Wiley. Moved to Kota Principality. Superintendent of Ethnography Department in Kota, 1902-1907. Role in Freedom Struggle Founded Veer-Bharat Sabha in 1910. 1. Arrange Funds and Weapons for Armed Struggle. 2. Call on Martial Communities and Youth to Participate in Freedom Struggle. 3. Influence soldiers in Native Armies to help revolutionaries. Named in CID list of 1912 at the National Archives. Co-founded Rajasthan Sewa Sangh and Rajputana-Madhya Bharat Sabha. Suggested Responsible Government and Bicameral Legislature in Rajasthan to AGG. Mahant Pyarelal Murder Case- 1912 K. Barhath named in Murder of Priest Mahant Pyarelal in Kota in 1912. Associates: Ramkaran, Somdutt Lahri, Hiralal Jalori etc. Government Approver: Laxmilal Bhatnagar. Member of “Bharat Dharm Mahamandal” founded by Swami Gyananand. Revolutionise the Rajput Soldiers serving in Marwar and British Armies. Influenced by: Ras Bihari Bose and Sacchindra Sanyal. Armed rebellion on 21st February 1915 in Ajmer. Assisted by Damodardas Rathi and Bhoop Singh (Vijay Singh Pathik). Imprisoned under Defence of India Act at Toddgarh Jail, Escaped. Caught Again, Imprisoned in Tihar Jail, Pardoned in 1919-20. He later joined Indian National Movement along with Gandhiji. Kesari Singh Barhath on Rao Gopal Singh: “Rahyo laal Panchal mein, Maharashtra mein Baal Raajat Rajasthan mein, Gauravmai Gopal” Damodardas Rathi Bhamashah of Rajasthan’s freedom struggle. Birth: Pokran, Jaisalmer in 1884. Set up “Krishna Mills” at Beawar, Ajmer. Organizations “Nagiri Pracharini Sabha” in Beawar. Sanatan Dharm College, Beawar Marwari Shiksha Mandal (Navbharat Vidhyalay), Wardha. Vijay Singh Pathik (Rashtriya Pathik) Born as Bhoop Singh Gurjar at Gunthavali, Bulandshar (UP). Parents: Hammir Singh and Kamal Kunwari. Implicated in Lahore Conspiracy Case and jailed at Toddgarh Prison along with Gopal Singh Kharwa. Attempt to kill Bengal Governor Fraser and Involved in Alipore Conspiracy. Broke Prison and took refuge at Occhri Village, Chittor. Worked as a Teacher with Hari Bhai Kinker in Vidhya Pracharini Sabha; trained students with revolutionary ideas. Headed Bijoliya Peasant Movement from 1915-16 with the initiation of Sadhu Sitaram Das. Also, helmed Begun Peasant Movement and others. Founded Rajasthan Sewa Sangh at Wardha (Maharashtra) in 1919, shifted it to Ajmer in 1920. Arrested on 10th September, 1923 during Begun Movement. Imprisoned for 5 years and Exiled from Mewar after release from Prison. Died in 1954 at Ajmer. Newspapers Rajasthan Kesari- Wardha. Naveen Rajasthan and Tarun Rajasthan from Ajmer.
