(Battalion 6 Reference Book) PROCEDURE If the need for a particular piece of equipment is determined, the Incident Commander is responsible to contact Northwest Central Dispatch (NWCD) and request the specific equipment needed. For equipment housed within MABAS Division 1, NWCD will personally contact the agency housing the equipment. For any equipment housed outside of MABAS Division 1, NWCD will notify RED Center who will locate the specific equipment. NWCD will provide the Incident Commander with confirmation of the request and an estimated time of arrival for the requested equipment.
