Databases must be maintained to preserve performance, manage disk space use, and guard against data loss in case of database failure. There are two methods used for database Over time, a database may become large and slow if it maintenance: is not regularly de-fragmented, trimmed and optimized. Use Database Manager to manually perform maintenance operations on the Power Monitoring Expert databases. Database backups are important "snapshots" of the database Use Windows Task Scheduler to configure Recoverable points in time, in the event that the scheduled jobs to perform automated database fails (for example, server crashes, custom operations such as backup, maintenance, SQL scripts, and so on) and trim. Database Manager helps users maintain the information contained the databases through periodic maintenance, backups and archives. The default scheduled jobs are best for most applications unless specifically required to change or update. Confidential Property of Schneider Electric | Page 13 Internal © 2021 Schneider Electric.
