Darkroom Procedure
- The installer or fixer consists of two parts (a) and (b). Part (a) holds 5 liters, and part (b) holds about a liter.
- A basin, or enlarger of 20 liters or more is needed.
- A tool to move fluids.
Acid Synthesis Method
- Put 13 liters of water in the basin or enlarger, then add solution A slowly, with constant stirring.
- Then add solution B to the water, with stirring.
Notes
- In the past, the processing materials were in powder form that dissolved in water.
- When changing the appearance of the acid, companies stopped them leaking.
- It is preferable to wash the acidification device with the pulleys at each change of solution.
- Always cover the solution.
- On case of oxidized surface, the oxidizing materials can be disposed by using a sheet of airflow pass on the surface of the solution.
- The time of appearance is seven times the time necessary for the process.
- The ideal temperature is 20°C and the maximum time of appearance decreases 1/4 minutes and vice versa.
