Poster Colours
- More pigmented than water colours and tempera colours, eliminating the need for glue size addition before use

Acrylic Colours
- Opaque water-based paints containing synthetic resin(s) as binder, fine coloured pigment, and drier
- Fast-drying with good opacity, elasticity, flow, adhesion, and water resistance
- Available in small and big containers, and in paste form in tubes
- Drying rate can be retarded by adding a little linseed oil, often used for large realistic mural paintings

- Can be used to prime fabric, wood, and cement walls
- Can be sprayed with vanish or lacquer upon drying to improve brightness and durability
