Warehouse Order Grouping

Warehouse Order Creation Rule Precedence

• If the warehouse process type rule criteria is not met, then the warehouse order creation rule for the search sequence is applied.

Default Warehouse Order Creation Rules

• Warehouse tasks failing to pass the filter's warehouse order creation rule are passed to the next rule in the sequence.
• If no rules are left in the sequence for the activity area, the default rule UNDE (undetermined) is assigned.
• If no rule is set up for the activity area, EWM uses the default rule DEF.

Packing Profile Purpose

• The packing profile is used to create pick handling units (HUs) during warehouse order creation.
• The packing mode determines packaging specifications and HU type from the packaging material master.

• Limit values define the size of each warehouse order.
• The item-level filter checks if each warehouse task's weight, volume, and processing time are within permissible limits.

• This activity area is used in queue determination.
• Queues are determined based on parameters like source activity area, destination activity area, activity, and bin access type.
