Volleying Violations and Rules

• Hitting the ball twice in succession results in a loss of the point for the team, as it is considered a fault.

Serving Dynamics

• If a served ball grazes the net but still successfully lands in the opponent's court, the serve is considered legal and play continues as usual.

Hit Counts and Violations

• Each team is allowed a maximum of three hits per side during standard play before sending the ball over the net.

Interference and Serving Rules

• Reaching under the net and interfering with the ball or an opposing player is known as a "under-the-net" violation, which results in lost points.
• Blocking or attacking a serve is explicitly prohibited; this violation is termed a "service attack" violation.
• Reaching over the net is permitted when the player does not interfere with the opponent's play and the ball is not directly above the net.

Order of Serving

• If a player fails to serve in the correct order, it results in a service error, awarding a point to the opposing team and necessitating a rotation to correct the serving sequence.
