We narrowed down our research problem by focusing specifically on rescued stray dogs in Silong, Brgy. Granada, Bacolod City. This allowed us to concentrate on understanding the risk factors affecting these dogs, their population dynamics, and the challenges of managing their health and safety in a more controlled environment.

We chose to focus on both risk factors and population dynamics because they are interconnected and essential for understanding the overall health and sustainability of stray dog populations. Examining risk factors like diseases helps explain the challenges these dogs face, while at the same time studying their population dynamics reveals factors like breeding, adoption, and rescuing.

We plan to determine the significance of the risk factors by analyzing the collected data using statistical methods. This will help identify any correlations or patterns between factors like age, health status, and origin, and their impact on the population dynamics, such as rescue rates and adoption outcomes.
