Bill of Rights

  • No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, and all persons are entitled to equal protection of the laws.
  • The right to security against unreasonable searches and seizures is inviolable, and no search warrant shall issue except upon probable cause determined by a judge.

Right to Privacy

  • The privacy of communication and correspondence is inviolable except upon lawful order of the court or when public safety requires otherwise.
  • Evidence obtained in violation of the right to privacy shall be inadmissible in any proceeding.

Freedom of Expression

  • The freedom of speech, expression, and press shall not be abridged, and the right to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances shall not be impaired.

Freedom of Religion

  • No law shall establish a religion, and the free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship shall be allowed without discrimination or preference.
  • No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights.

Liberty and Travel

  • The liberty of abode and of changing the same shall not be impaired except upon lawful order of the court.
