- Treatment: Benzathine penicillin 2.4 MU (or Doxycycline 100mg if penicillin allergy) + Azithromycin 1g OD Stat.
Genital Ulcer - Herpetic
- Presence of genital ulcers or vesicles. Painful, recurrent.
- Burning sensation in the genital area is possible.
- Treatment: Acyclovir 400mg
Lower Abdominal Pain (LAP)
- Pain in the lower abdomen.
- Fever may be present.
- Vaginal discharge may be involved.
- Menstrual irregularities (heavy, irregular bleeding), dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, dysuria, tenesmus, and low backache are possible.
- Treatment: Cefixime 400mg OD stat + Metronidazole 400mg.
Inguinal Bubo (IB)
- Swelling in the inguinal region, possibly painful.
- Treatment: Azithromycin 1gm OD stat. Cervical motion tenderness might be present.
