Definitions in Public Service By-law
- The Public Service By-law is referred to as Chapter 192 of the Toronto Municipal Code.
- An Agency refers to a City of Toronto agency listed in Schedule 1.
Confidential Information
- Confidential Information includes:
- Privileged information
- Draft by-laws or staff reports
- Third-party information
- Personal information
- Technical, financial, or scientific information
- Any other information that must be kept confidential under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Personal Health Information Protection Act, or the City of Toronto Act.
Conflict of Interest
- Conflict of Interest includes:
- A situation where a public servant has private interests that could compete with their duties and responsibilities.

Designated Positions
