Affirmative Form
- Used to describe habits and routines, general truths, and fixed schedules
- Formation: Subject + base form of the verb
- Examples:
- I wake up at 7:00 am (habit/routine)

- They live in Paris (general truth)
Negative Form
- Used to describe habits and routines that do not happen, general truths that are not true, and fixed schedules that do not exist
- Formation: Subject + do/does not + base form of the verb
- Examples:
- I don't wake up at 7:00 am (habit/routine that doesn't happen)
- She doesn't eat breakfast at 8:00 am (habit/routine that doesn't happen)
- They don't live in Paris (general truth that is not true)
Exception: Verb "to be"
- Formation: Subject + is not/am not/are not
- Examples:
- I am not a student
- She is not happy
- They are not friends
