    (1) Fibroblasten:

    • Produceren van extracellulaire matrix componenten: collageen, elastine, glycosaminoglycanen, multiadhesive glycoproteïnen
    • Fibroblast = actieve cel: grote, ovale nucleus, prominente nucleolus, veel RER, goed ontwikkelde Golgi complex
    • Fibrocyt: minder actief: kleiner met minder ontwikkelde celcomponenten
    • Figure 5–2: Rat skin met fibroblasten (F) in dermis
    • Figure 5–3: Quiescent fibroblasts met smalle cytoplasmaprojesies en condenseerde chromatine
