- A webpage is a single document or page on the World Wide Web displayed in a browser.
- A website is a collection of related webpages grouped together under one domain name.

Features of Web 2.0
- Folksonomy allows users to categorize and classify information using freely chosen keywords. Tagging by Facebook, Twitter, and hashtags is included.
- Rich User Experience means content is dynamic and responsive to user input.
- User Participation means the website owner is not the only one able to put content. Others can place content of their own through comments, reviews, and evaluations, as on Lazada.com and Amazon.com.
- Long Tail refers to services offered on demand rather than on a one-time purchase. This is synonymous to subscribing to a data plan that charges you for the amount of time you spent on the Internet, or a data plan that charges you for the amount of bandwidth you used.
- Software as a Service means users will be subscribe to a software only when needed rather than purchasing them, such as Google Docs which is used to create and edit word processing and spreadsheets.
- Mass Participation refers to diverse information sharing.
