The Meaning of al-Hamdullilah
- al-Hamdullilah means "all praise" in Arabic, with "al-" meaning "the" or "all"

The Significance of al-Hamdullilah
- According to Ibn al-Qayyim RahimahuAllah, being guided to say al-Hamdullilah is a greater blessing than being given the entire world
- al-Hamdullilah is a statement that will be said by everyone on the Day of Judgement
The Prophet's Use of al-Hamdullilah
- When something pleased the Prophet ﷺ, he would say: "الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ" (All praise is for Allah by whose blessings all good things are perfected)
- When something displeased the Prophet ﷺ, he would say: "الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ" (All praise is for Allah in all circumstances)
