Stop signs indicate a complete halt is required before proceeding.
Yield signs indicate that a driver must give way to other vehicles or pedestrians before continuing.

Speed limit signs set the maximum allowable speed for vehicles on a particular road.
Right turn only signs instruct drivers to turn right at the intersection.

Left turn only signs require drivers to make a left turn at the intersection.
Straight through only signs indicate that only straight movement is permitted at the intersection.

No right turn signs prohibit making a right turn at the designated intersection.
No left turn signs indicate that drivers are not allowed to make a left turn at the intersection.
No U-turn signs prohibit turning the vehicle in the opposite direction at that location.

Left/straight optional lane signs indicate that drivers can either turn left or proceed straight in that lane.
Right/straight optional lane signs allow drivers to turn right or continue straight.

Turn signs (left and right) indicate that a turn is ahead and the driver should be prepared to navigate.
Curve signs (left and right) warn drivers of an approaching curve in the road.
Reverse curve signs (left and right) indicate a quick succession of curves in opposite directions.

Interstate route signs (2-digit) signify the roadway is part of the interstate highway system.

Flagger signs denote the presence of personnel directing traffic in construction zones.
Worker signs warn of workers present on the road, necessitating extra caution.

Red indicates the need to stop, yield, or follow instructions shown on the sign.
Green provides directional information about locations and distances.
Blue directs drivers to services such as hospitals, gas stations, and eating places.
Yellow signals general warnings or cautions on the road.
Fluorescent yellow-green also indicates warnings or caution, particularly for pedestrians or school zones.
White denotes regulatory signs that indicate laws and ordinances.
Orange signals road work and maintenance alerts; watch for road workers.
Brown points out recreational and historical areas, including parks and cultural sites.
