Traffic Signs and Right of Way

  • When approaching an intersection with a yellow light, try to stop before the intersection if possible.
  • Passing on the right of another car by crossing a solid line is illegal, except when the road is specifically marked for passing.

  • In Michigan, the speed limit in a rural area is 55 mph, unless otherwise posted.

Yielding and Stopping

  • When an intersection has only a stop sign with no stop lines or crosswalk lines, you must stop before entering the intersection.

Right of Way

Emergency Vehicles
