The Socratic Method

The Socratic method is a process of dialogue based on questioning that inspires critical thinking and analysis.

The purpose of the Socratic method is to structure constructive and challenging conversations without descending into argument or pure rhetoric.

The five steps to follow in a Socratic dialogue are: receive, reflect, refine, reason, and respond.
