Present Simple Tense
- Used to express truths, habits, and repeated actions.
- Example of truth: "The sun sets in the west."
- Example of habit: "I brush my teeth every day."
- Indicates events surely occurring in the future, e.g. "The train leaves at 8 a.m. tomorrow."
Structure of Present Simple

Affirmative:
- Subject + verb (s/es) + object.
- "I, You, We, They" use the base form of the verb.
- "He, She, It" add (s/es) to the verb.
- Example: "Every Sunday, we go to see my grandparents."

- Subject + do/does + not + base form of the verb.
