Fall Feasts of Yehovah

Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets): marks the beginning of the High Holy Days and is a time of reflection and repentance
Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement): observed 10 days after Rosh Hashanah, a solemn day of fasting and prayer for atonement for personal and national sins
Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles): a week-long celebration following Yom Kippur, commemorating the Israelites' journey through the wilderness after their Exodus from Egypt.

Moedim on the Hebrew Calendar

Yehovah ordained seven Moedim (appointed times) on His Hebrew Calendar (Leviticus 23)
Moedim are considered holy convocations and are meant to be observed by all Israelites

Yehoshua's Fulfillment of the First Four Moedim

Yehoshua's earthly ministry mirrored the first four Moedim
The Passover (Pesach): Yehoshua became the paschal lamb, sacrificed for the sins of the world (John 1:29)
The Unleavened Bread: He taught the importance of living without sin, symbolized by the unleavened bread (Matthew 16:11-12)
The Firstfruits: He rose from the dead as the firstfruits of the resurrection, offering hope for eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:20-23)
Pentecost: The Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples, marking the beginning of the Church (Acts 2:1-4)

Yehoshua's Roles During His First and Second Coming

First Coming:
- Prophet (Deuteronomy 18:15-19): proclaiming the word of Yehovah
- Priest (Hebrews 7:26-28): offering atonement for sins
- King (Psalm 2:6-7): establishing His Kingdom in the hearts of believers
Second Coming:
- King (Revelation 19:11-16): ruling over the nations with justice and righteousness
- Judge (Acts 17:31): judging the living and the dead
- Redeemer (Romans 8:21-25): setting the captives free and bringing restoration to the earth

Why the Religious Leaders Disapproved of Yehoshua

Yehoshua’s teachings challenged traditional religious practices and authority, which threatened their position and power
