Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives the disciples came unto him privately saying tell us when shall these things be and what shall be the sign of thy coming and the end of the world the question is when shall these things be and have all been talking about when the temple would be destroyed so there's the concept the destruction of the temple and the associated events But to answer the question when shall these things be Jesus goes on to say assuredly I say to you this generation because Jesus was speaking to these Apostles about the temple at this time will by no means pass away till all these things take place all these things that have been questioned about the temple Source generation of ad70 the destruction of the temple the ad7b but of that day and hour no no one knows even the angels in Heaven nor the son but only the father so I believe that's referring to the destruction of the Temple Bulls exposition of the Bible says the same thing it's not speaking about the second coming of Christ Adam Clark says the same thing again many of our earlier Brethren spoke about Matthew 24 particularly as all lady ad70 um so we can see or I put it to you that Jesus did not know when the Roman army would come Daddy was given limited information from his father because Jesus gives the impression there may be one day warning like the days of lust this is seen in the advice of Jesus let's him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of this house and he asked his disciples to pray that it was not in the winter season or on the Sabbath history shows there was a window of opportunity of about two years for believers to flee Jerusalem so the words give the distinct impression that Jesus knew the outline of the time but was not given the day or hour or the season of the coming destruction so it's my suggestion Amos 3 verse 7 says surely the law of God will do nothing but he reveal us his secrets and to his servants the prophets now the Carter was not on his own and not the first to believe that the 70-week prophecy spoke about the second Advent of Christ as well as the first Isaac Newton does this have we in this short prophecy a prediction of all the main periods relating to the coming of the Messiah the time of his birth that of his death that of the rejection of the Jews the duration of the Jewish War whereby he calls the city and Sanctuary to be destroyed and the time of this second coming and so the interpretation here given is more full and complete and adequate to the design than if we should restrain it to his first coming own only as interpreters usually do so let's follow the reasoning of the Carter on the 70th Jubilee Jubilee's are all about giving back inheritance releasing prisoners and we're all prisoners of sin and death it's the year of release from sin and birth inheritance of the Kingdom would suggest so that's what it's all about it's it's in natural things getting the land back and that's why uh the daughters of Salata had Etc everything was to do with having an inheritance in the land because if you have an inheritance in the land you have an inheritance in the Kingdom to come on the year of release for slaves and we will be released from sin and death so the key to unlock Mysteries of the Jubilee Cycles is the 77th prophecy or we're normally used to say in the 70 weeks prophecy that it is actually sevens Daniel 9 verse 24 says this this is the 70 week or the 77 prophecy 77s are determined for your people and for your Holy City to finish the transgression to make an end of sins to make reconciliation for iniquity to bring in Everlasting righteousness to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy note these verses speak about your people and for your holy city it is primarily speaking about the Jewish people and Jerusalem where I can't believe this verse must primarily refer to 70 Jubilee periods and gives much evidence to substantiate this he writes at length giving multiple reasons for why he believed a longer time period than 70 weeks was needed for the fulfillments of this prophecy it's two prophecies in one he mentions about the long prophetical time periods in the Book of Daniel being interlinked and running alongside the larger time period of the 70 Jubilee periods so that makes sense isn't it we've got 1260 years you've got 12 90 years you've got 13 35 years and you've got 2 300 years in the Book of Daniel that seems to fit with a bigger time period 70 determined for your people in your holy city as you can see strong says it means literally seven in fact it's translated certain in Ezekiel 45 verse 21.
