Input Devices

Output Devices

• Convert digital signals back into analogue formats.
• Monitors and speakers are considered output devices, while 3D printers are used for producing physical objects from digital designs.

Storage Devices

• Allow data to be stored for later use in various formats.
• Examples include floppy disks, hard disks, CDs, and USB flash drives.
• Types of storage include:
  • CD-ROM: Compact Disk-Read Only Memory.
  • CD-R: Compact Disk-Recordable.
  • CD-RW: Compact Disk-Rewritable.
  • DVD: Digital Versatile Disk.
  • USB: Universal Serial Bus.

Peripheral Devices

• Include any input, output, or storage devices that connect to a computer.
• Internal devices, such as hard disks, are found inside the computer, while external devices, such as external hard disks, are located outside.
