    • The Bridge Inspector shall maintain a structural steel inspection register to record the results of the inspection, which should be submitted to the Assistant Engineer (Bridges) / Divisional Engineer (Bridges) by the specified date.

    Inspection by Bridge Inspector

    • The Bridge Inspector shall inspect the steel structures, including fabrication and erection, in the workshop and on-site, at a frequency decided by the Chief Engineer (Bridges).
    • The Bridge Inspector shall record the results of the inspection in the structural steel inspection register.
    • Any defects or repairs required shall be reported and action taken to rectify them.

    Inspection by Assistant Engineer (Bridges) / Divisional Engineer (Bridges)
