Spanish Verb Stem Changes

• The (ue), (ie), and (i) indicate stem changes in the present tense for these verbs.

Spanish - Weekend Plans

• ¿Qué vienes (tú) a hacer el fin de semana? = What are you coming to do this weekend?
• No sé. Mis padres vienen al campus este fin de semana. = I don't know. My parents are coming to campus this weekend.
• No sé. Mis padres prefieren ir al campus este fin de semana. = I don't know. My parents prefer to go to campus this weekend.

• "¿Cuál?" = Which? / What?
• "¿Cuántas?" = How many? (feminine plural)
• "Dónde" = Where?
• "Qué" = What?
• "Por qué" = Why?
• "Quién" = Who?
• "Cuánto" = How much?
