  • Starting a Sketch:
    • Sketch on a Plane or Face: create using lines and centrelines
    • Smart Dimensions: Linear, angular, radial, diameters
    • Circles: created using two points or two parallel lines, diameter
    • Arcs: created using radial, angled lines, centerpoint, endpoints, or tangent
    • Dimension to centre lines: change from linear to diameter dimensions
  • Sketch Entities:
    • Lines and Centrelines: vertical, horizontal, or specified angle, construction lines
    • Rectangles: corner rectangle, centerpoint rectangle, three point rectangle, parallelogram
  • Circles and Arcs in a Sketch:
    • Circles: Centre located at two places, perimeter with two or three locations
    • Arcs: Centrepoint, endpoints of arc segment, tangent to an entity, created using line tool
  • Fillets and Chamfers:
    • Fillet: trims away corner and creates tangent arc
    • Chamfer: trims away corner and creates bevel
    • Angle-distance or distance-distance.
