- Outs per Inning: 3 per team

- Strike vs. Ball: Strike = pitch within strike zone (missed/unswung); Ball = pitch outside strike zone (not swung at)
- Walk: Four balls = batter walks to first base
- Defensive Outs:
- Strikeout: 3 strikes
- Caught Fly Ball: Caught before hitting ground
- Force Out: Fielder reaches base before runner
- Full Count: 3 balls, 2 strikes
- Strike Zone: Above home plate, from knees to halfway between shoulders and pants horizontally.
- Grand Slam: Home run with all bases occupied, scores 4 runs (batter + runners)
- Positions: Pitcher, Catcher, First Base, Second Base, Shortstop, Third Base, Left Field, Center Field, Right Field, Designated Hitter
Pickleball

- Scoring: One point per serve, rally scoring
- No Kitchen hits: Cannot hit ball in kitchen unless it bounces first
- No Kitchen Serve: Cannot serve from kitchen

- Game Points: Typically to 11 points
- Double Bounce Rule: Service/Return must each bounce once before volley
- Net Height: 34" center, 36" sidelines
- Unlimited Hits: Unlimited hits in a rally on each side, as long as in the play area
- Serve: Underhand, below waist, diagonal hit, behind baseline
- Valid Hit: Only single hit per serve (fault if not)
- Rally Scoring: Points earned on every serve, including opponent's
