Fundamentalist Socialism
- Incompatibility with capitalism: Earliest form of socialism, asserting fundamental incompatibility between socialist values and capitalism.
- Marxism: Ultimate state of human development, vision of a perfect society based on common ownership, communal living, and the principle of "each according to his needs." This historical critique of capitalism predicts its downfall.
- Class consciousness: Created by capitalism for working class(proletariat), driving revolutionary change.
- Revolution: Fundamentalist socialism advocates smashing capitalism through revolutionary violence.
Democratic Socialism
