Soccer History and Rules
- Soccer's origins date back to around 1700 B.C.
- English players refined the game
- Basic rules have remained largely unchanged since the turn of the century.
Soccer Game
- Played by two teams of eleven players
- Each team member plays 45 minutes
- No timeouts
- Continuous play (except for injuries)
- Injury time added by the referee for stoppages

Soccer Fouls and Misconduct
