Access to Data Hall House Rules

  • Contractors must register at the guardhouse and proceed to the loading/unloading bay for security checks
  • No entry into the main lobby is allowed unless under escort or with client/FM/IDC team permission
  • Contractors can only access all floors of the building using the goods/cargo lift at the loading/unloading bay
  • Toilet usage is only permitted at the location near the loading/unloading area
  • All contractors must get approval from FM for scheduled and unplanned activities prior to the actual workday
  • Contractors are responsible for the keys issued to them and must bear the cost of replacing lost keys and any new master keying requirements
  • All deliveries must be made at the building loading bay area
  • No parking is allowed in the premise, except for loading/unloading only

Dress Code

  • No shorts, singlets, slippers, flip flops, and other revealing or inappropriate clothing are allowed
  • Clothing with rips, tears, or holes, or with offensive or inappropriate designs or stamps are not allowed
  • Clothing and grooming styles dictated by religion or ethnicity are exempt

Visitor Access Management

  • Flowcharts for drive-in/drive-out, walk-in/walk-out, loading and unloading, and courier delivery are provided

Prohibited Items

  • Food and drinks (except at the pantry)
  • Tobacco products
  • Firearms and weapons
  • Hazardous materials
  • Alcohol, illegal drugs, and other intoxicants
  • Electro-magnetic devices that can interfere with computer and telecommunications equipment
  • Radioactive materials
  • No photo or video taking
  • Photographic or recording equipment of any kind (except tape back-up equipment)
  • Equipment that interferes with the normal operation of a data center or any other 3rd party equipment

Occupants Inside Building

  • In the event of a first-stage alarm, staff should lock important files, cash, shut down machinery, and remain alert
  • Upon evacuation announcement, all staff should immediately evacuate by using the nearest exit and proceed to the assembly point
  • The assembly point is located outside of the main gate
  • All staff, guests, customers, and visitors should not re-enter the building once at the assembly point unless instructed otherwise by the Civil Defence Officer in attendance

Data Center Rules

  • No smoking, eating, or drinking in the Data Center
  • Keep the Data Center clean
  • Do not bring wet materials into the Data Center
  • No animals or pets are permitted in the Data Center
  • Work that causes annoying noise, smoke, or smell is not allowed in the Data Center
  • No explosive and hazardous materials are allowed in the Data Center
  • No inflammable goods can be stored in the Data Center
  • Cable connection to every C-Form can only be carried out by Facility Management Staff
  • No photo or video taking is allowed in the Data Hall
  • No Data Bearing Devices are allowed in the Data Center

Penalty Clauses for Non-Compliance

  • CMI will take severe actions and bar entry to its premise for breaching the prohibited items regulations or House Rules
