Aspects of the Self
- The self is comprised of various aspects, including physical, material, political, sexual, spiritual, and digital.
Stages of Love
- Lust: Driven by the desire for sexual gratification.
- Attraction: Characterized by intense attention to a desired partner, a craving for emotional union, and potentially impulsive actions driven by passion.
- Attachment: The desire to connect intimately with another, often described as affectionate or companionate love.
Sexual Orientation
- Personal identity anchored on what gender a person is attracted to.

- Gender is how a person identifies themselves.
LGBTQIA+

- Aims to equip individuals and couples with knowledge about family planning methods to allow informed choices.
- Promotes awareness of sexuality and reproductive health in adolescents and youth through effective sex education.
STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections)/ HIV/AIDS
- HIV/AIDS: A chronic, potentially life-threatening condition caused by a virus. Transmitted through unprotected sex, contaminated needles, blood transfusions and during pregnancy. Treatment includes antiretroviral therapy (combination daily medications that stop virus reproduction) to protect CD4 cells and keep the immune system strong.
- Chancroid: Bacterial infection causing sores/ulcers on genitals. Highly contagious, but curable with antibiotics. Symptoms appear within 4-10 days post-exposure.
- Pubic Lice: Very small parasites that infest the genital area, primarily spread through sexual contact. Symptoms include itching in the genital region or anus (often worsening at night), potentially low-grade fever, irritability, lack of energy, pale bluish spots near bites. Treatment includes decontamination (clothes, bedding) and topical lotions/shampoos.
- Chlamydia: Bacterial STI that damages reproductive system. Can infect various parts of the body. Causes include unprotected sex, oral sex, or genital touching. Treatable with antibiotics. Continued safe practices are important during treatment to avoid re-infection.
